As interfaith human rights advocates, our prayers and thoughts are with the victims and the families of the 16 innocent people murdered in this latest terror attack—targeting a Hanukkah observance meant for faith, light, and joy.
We stand firmly with our Jewish brothers and sisters against this religious-supremacy–driven terror. An attack on a place of worship or religious celebration is not just violence—it is an assault on the dignity of faith itself.
For moral clarity, this violence is rooted in Islamist supremacist ideology. Naming it is not prejudice; it is honesty. Silence and euphemism only help normalize what must never be normalized.
With each terror attack, our interfaith bonds strengthen, not weaken. We grieve together. We stand together. And we will not allow hatred or violence to define our shared future.
